Certifications meet life experience.
I came to coaching as a client on the heels of getting divorced, losing my best friend to cancer, and leaving my full-time job to be self-employed which all happened simultaneously over a two-year period.
It was, without question, the hardest time of my life.
I am the product of the divorce of my parents in childhood, and ongoing challenging family relationships throughout my adulthood.
I buried my father when I was thirty-six years old.
I have made new friends and lost old ones.
I have a been a mom, a stepmom and a single mom. I had a baby by myself, on purpose, as a Single Mom by Choice.
I have had a non-linear career path as a former lawyer, small business owner, and non-profit professional before coming to coaching.
I live with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and perimenopause all while running a business and raising a toddler and a ten year-old by myself.
Some days I struggle to keep us all afloat. Other days I feel like I am on top of the world.
Through all of this, my personal coaching work has helped me move from surviving to thriving. And understanding there is a place for both at different times.
The tools I have learned through coaching have taught me to calm my mind and my anxieties in a way nothing else has.
Here are just a few of the gifts I’ve gotten from coaching:
✅ Having compassion for myself and knowing what my boundaries are.
✅ Knowing what is mine to own and what is someone else’s.
✅ Not being so reactive to other people’s actions and not making their actions mean something about me.
✅ Making space for all of life’s experiences, even when it might feel hard in the process.
✅ Feeling calmer and more confident in all of my relationships as a result of my personal coaching work.
I love supporting other women on their journey to work through what feels hard on the path to finding what feels authentic and good. I want to help you create a life and relationships you love!
A life coach you can count on.
I am a certified Feminist Deep Dive Dating and Relationship Coach.
What does that mean?
I am Certified by the Life Coach School and have Advanced Certifications in Feminist Coaching from Kara Loewentheil (founder of Unf*ck Your Brain) and Deep Dive Coaching from Bev Aron. All of my coaches are leading coaches in the industry. That means you’ll be getting life-changing transformational coaching too!
My feminist coach training helps shine a light on all of the ways women are socialized to show up in our lives without even realizing it - at work, home, in relationships, and more - and then deciding if we want to keep what we were taught or try on a new way of showing up in the world. If you know me in real life, you would definitely call me a ‘feminist.’ But that doesn’t you have to be one too to benefit from this approach.
My deep dive coach training is about accessing the emotional parts of ourselves we often keep hidden. Doing this allows us to move forward in ways we may not have been able to before. As a Deep Dive coach, I go deeper to figure out what is keeping you stuck or making you feel bad. We welcome all of our feelings (even the uncomfortable ones) and process through them, together.
I always hold space for anything that comes up for you, and I never make you feel bad for what you’re experiencing.
My Ethical Coaching Pledge
I love and serve humans of all sexual and gender identities. To ensure my communications are clear and concise, I sometimes draw from heteronormative relationship examples based on my personal experience. I hold space for and honor all people and all types of relationships.
I do my best to always be transparent. If I believe your coaching needs don't align with my expertise or experience, or if you need supports beyond what I can comfortably offer, I will let you know as soon as I become aware of this and will do my best to aid your efforts to find someone better suited to assist you as I am able.
I am upfront in my pricing and have aimed to provide my services at a cost which honors not only my training and expertise but also my belief in my ability to coach you toward change. I don’t want you to stay stuck rehashing the same stories over and over again. I also aim to provide a livable wage for myself to support my family.
